  • SANTA ROSA ROTARY: With so many service and hospitality businesses suffering the effects of shelter-in-place and so many of their workers laid off or furloughed now is the perfect time for Rotary to turn the tables and help serve the people who normally serve us! Santa Rosa West partnered with Santa Rosa East to purchase boxed lunches each week from a different local restaurant and distribute them every Saturday to Hospitality and Service Workers and their families via a safe drive-thru in Santa Rosa. Funding comes from an initial grant from the Rotary Club and corporate sponsorships from Sonoma Clean Power and St Joseph Health. There is a GoFundMe set up where you can contribute. Lunch will be served every Saturday starting at Noon at the Multicultural Child Development Center. 1650 W. 3rd Street in Santa Rosa. You can help keep this going by donating at http://www.santarosawestrotary.com/.

  • MEALS FOR HEROES: With these challenging times, our local first responders and health care professionals are working harder than ever to support and protect our community. As a Thank You for their efforts, we are organizing meal donations from our community. Law enforcement, EMTs, firefighters, and healthcare professionals will be supplied lunch and dinner meals through Meals for Heroes sponsored by Homes for Heroes.
Meals will need to be delivered by the restaurant of choice (support local if possible!) or grocery store. Please nothing homemade at this time as we are being extra cautious of everyone’s health and safety. Snack packs are a great option as well with prepackaged food such as: granola bars, jerky, nuts, cookies, chips, dried fruits, etc.

Meal deliveries will be for groups of 10-20 people. Contact Morgan Sullivan with Homes for Heroes to set up a Meals for Heroes delivery! morgan@sullivangroupwinecountry.com 707-696-8654
Once we have confirmation of donation, we will help set up the date, time, and delivery location for our Heroes. Thank you for your generosity!

  • SONOMA FAMILY MEAL: Unlike the fires that swept through Sonoma County in 2017 and 2019, we are facing an entirely different disaster with coronavirus. SFM’s usual model of bringing hundreds of volunteers together to cook is not in compliance with social distancing. Our COVID-19 Model: Paying our network of Sonoma County restaurants to cook hundreds of lovingly prepared meals each day. It’s a win-win for local businesses and food insecure seniors, immigrants, farm workers and families. Learn more at https://www.sonomafamilymeal.org/

  • REDWOOD EMPIRE FOOD BANK: The Redwood Empire Food Bank has organized drive-thru distributions that are happening all across Sonoma County! We wouldn't be able to distribute food to the thousands of families and individuals in need without our amazing network of do-gooders. If you need to find food, visit https://getfood.refb.org/

  • CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF THE DIOCESE OF SANTA ROSA: Since the COVID-19 crisis began, one thing has stood out to me – our community’s resilience. We are all faced with uncertainty the likes of which we’ve never seen before. And yet, together we are rising to meet this challenge. I am particularly amazed by the staff here at Catholic Charities.  The food distribution team has pioneered innovative ways to put food on the table for as many hungry families as possible.
