In 2010 Jazz on the River & the Russian River Blues Festival Show will be combined. Jazz will be performed on Saturday and Blues will be performed on Sunday.

Jazz on the River is a great way to spend the weekend. This Festival is also often called the Russian River Jazz Festival because earlier in the year the Russian River Blues festival takes place in the same area at Johnson's Beach in Guerneville. The setting couldn't be better. Huge redwood trees surround you with the hot sun shining through. Everyone hangs out on lawn chairs and just kicks back while the music plays. If you get too hot, just jump in the warm and inviting Russian River for a dip.

Ticket Prices
• General Admission - $45
• General Admission Child's Pass (6-12; 5 & under are FREE) - $10
• General Admission 2-Day Pass - $80
• GOLD Single Day - $90
• GOLD 2-DAY Pass - $160

There are 2 price levels for tickets: Advance & At-The-Gate. All ticket levels are discounted in advance, and the ticket prices At-The-Gate are higher. Avoid the extra costs by purchasing your tickets through Omega or one of the Official Ticket Outlets.

Gear Up For A Great Jazz Experience!

Be sure to bring a blanket, swimsuit, hat, sunscreen... even sweaters for cool river mornings and evenings.

Jazz On The River will feature wine tasting from several of Sonoma County's world famous wineries.

For a nominal additional fee, Festival attendees 21 years and older will be able to taste premium wines from these featured wineries.

BOX TOPS for EDUCATION
Those little blue & pink rectangles seem to be
everywhere, from cereals to ziploc bags.
They are BOX TOPS for EDUCATION, and they
are worth ten cents each for SCHOOLS.
Most people throw away a few of them every
day/month without even noticing.
Let's do the math....if there are 40,000 homes in
a school district, and every home turns in 5
BOX TOPS each month, the SCHOOL district would
have $20,000 per month....extra!

So STOP THROWING AWAY SCHOOL FUNDS! Put a
baggie on your fridge, save the BOX TOPS,
and drop them off at a local school.
Every little bit helps.

Wed 11/10 The 1940's Radio Hour
Spend the evening w/ Soroptimist International of Santa Rosa.
The 9140's Radio is a holiday treat full of 1940's big-band music, swing dancing, patriotism & old-fashioned sound effects. Take a musical sentimental journey to a bygone era as you experience this "live" radio broadcast from the Hotel Astor's Algonquin Room on Dec. 21st, 1942. The spirit of that bygone era, when the world was at war & pop music meant "Strike Up the Band" & "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" (both are in the show), is accurately captured as the harassed producer copes w/ a drunk lead singer, the delivery boy who wants a chance in front of the mike, the second banana who dreams of singing a ballad, and the trumpet playing sound effect man who chooses a fighter plane over Glen Miller.
