In a career that spans seven solo albums and countless collaborations in the studio and live on stage, Mindi Abair has made her mark on a
broad stretch of the musical landscape that includes jazz, pop, rock, R&B, soul, funk and more. The powerhouse saxophonist/vocalist has
made scores of friends along the way and earned the respect of top-shelf artists representing every one of the aforementioned genres.
Elliott Yamin was born July, 1978 in Los Angeles, California. His father is Israeli, and his mother is Jewish-American. Yamin's family
moved to Richmond, Virginia when he was 11 years old. 3 years later his parents divorced, and his father moved back to California.
For Spencer, the past year was spent rediscovering who he is both as a person and an artist. “I really have come to believe that my job
as an artist is to help people access their emotions. My first job is to help people feel something; anything. I want us all to be able to celebrate
our shared humanity, regardless of where we come from.”
